The bachelor of Business administration(BBA) programme is a three year full time course designed to make quality managers of tomorrow. It prepares the students to understand and develop the unique managerial acumen and leadership qualities required to successfully plan, organize ,direct and control then functions and process of a firm or organization. It aims at developing a student’s intellectual ability, communication skills, corporate personality, decision making power and other managerial abilities through appropriate blending of business and general education, both theory and practical. Students is this programme are exposed to a series of foundation subjects that provide solid basis of all the principal areas of business including accountancy, finance, marketing, production, human resource development , business regulatory framework , management information systems and even environment management .In the final year students can specialize in any of the stream.
The methodology of teaching involves training through practical experience in the form of case studies, project preparations , presentations, industrial visits and interaction with the Industry Captains.
With the volumes of the Indian economy set to cross Rs 40 trillion with a GDP forecast of 8.50% along with the huge domestic and foreign investments coming up , a larger number of trained managerial cadres are the need of the hour and the same has opened up a new horizon to the young and promising students who like to position themselves at the helm of the organizations.
