Food Production Laboratory

| To develop and fine-tune the cooking skills, the students go through cookery practical in Basic Training Kitchen, Advanced Training Kitchen, Quality kitchen and Demonstration kitchen. They get familiar with the various kitchen equipments and are shown the intricate cutting methods to begin with. To supplement these skills, regular demonstrations are given by the faculty and Industry professionals in demonstration kitchen. The students then learn basic Regional, National & International cuisines. The basic training kitchen is a launching pad where the students learn the various culinary skills and each of them is given the independence to cook, garnish and present various dishes. |

| This helps the students to master the art of baking an confectionary, which includes cake-making, pastries, bread products and desserts besides the art of decorating various cakes, pastries and gateaux. |

| In this lab the students learn the techniques of Food and Beverages services. Various style of services such as American Service, Silver Service, Buffet Service, Guerdon Service etc. are
practised. In addition, the students are taught the art and skill of preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. In the state of art training restaurant with an ambience of star category hotels the students are trained in all types of service including buffet and banquet service. The Training Bar is fully equipped with all kinds of glassware and equipment to train the students in service and presentation of different wines, spirits, liquors and cocktails. |

Front Office

The Front Office laboratory is specifically designed
to replicate an actual lobby of a 5 star hotel. In the spacious Front office Laboratory, practical classes are held, wherein the students are trained to take Guest check-ins, checkout and face various mock situation put forth by the trained lectures. Here the students' soft skills are polished to make them experts in all types of guest and telephone handling, They are trained to suitably deal with any kinds of guest request. Role-playing, Situation handling, other front office related exercise, property management systems, accounting are the key areas of training in this lab. |

House Keeping

The House
Keeping Laboratory consists of a guest room with well-designed interiors where students are trained in bed making, layout planning and in general upkeep of guest rooms. Moreover the Mock House keeping Laboratory and the Laundry equipped with washing machines, driers, and a wash area enable students to get the right feel of the
House Keeping Department what one may find in any star category hotel. |

| The institute has set up a Language Lab for students of all stream with the primary objectives of providing scope for active interaction, improving their communicative skill. The Language Lab helps the students in building up a proper attitude for business communication, providing scope for developing presentation skill and acquiring competence in group discussion and personal interviews which are the must possess skill to make a break through in their careers. |
